About The Experience
Green Planet is a breathtaking oasis in the heart of the desert, meticulously recreating the enchanting ecosystem of the South American Amazon rainforest. Situated at City Walk, this expansive glass biodome covers approximately 60,000 square feet and houses over 3000 unique species of flora and fauna. Developed by Meraas and operated by ZoOceanarium Group, the biodome boasts an elegant cylindrical design, with its exterior resembling a folded piece of origami paper.
Stepping inside Green Planet offers visitors a surreal experience, as if they are exploring an authentic tropical forest. The focal point is a colossal 25-meter-high artificial Kapok-style tree, the world’s largest of its kind. Adorned with vines and figs, this life-sustaining tree shelters various exotic plant, animal, and bird species. A captivating waterfall attached to the tree not only enhances the overall ambiance but also fills the air with cool mist.
The biodome is divided into four levels—Flooded Rainforest, Forest Floor, the Midstory, and the Canopy—ensuring a comprehensive representation of an ecosystem. Explore intriguing features such as the Australian Walkabout, Bat Cave, Sloth Encounter, Sugar Glider Encounter, and Reptile Encounter. Visitors have the unique opportunity to touch and hold a real python, adding an interactive element to the experience.
Navigating through the levels is made convenient with a spiral walkway around the tree or by using an elevator. For the adventurous souls, a rope suspension bridge leads to a treehouse, offering unparalleled and up-close views of the artificial tree. Green Planet provides a refreshing escape in the midst of the desert city, making it a must-visit destination in Dubai for nature enthusiasts, families, and children alike.

- Shared transfers are only provided from centrally located hotels and residences in Dubai city. (Deira, Bur Dubai, Sheikh Zayed, Marina).
