Nestled at the foot of the scenic Jebel Hafeet Mountain, Al Ain Zoo provides a fabulous opportunity to encounter both indigenous and exotic animals. Exciting Sections
Explore the zoo’s recent addition, Al Ain Safari, covering over 215 hectares and representing one of the world’s legendary ecosystems. It features a wide array of native African animals, including the iconic Big 5, all within a replicated natural habitat. Visitors can take a 45-minute Truck Drive or 60-minute SUV ride to experience an authentic African safari.
The zoo is also home to the Sheikh Zayed Desert Learning Centre (SZDLC). With five interactive galleries taking visitors on a journey from the past to the present, SZDLC is the first facility in the country to be awarded a five-pearl rating by the Estidama Pearl Rating System and LEED Platinum certification.
